LOUFRE Habitats x Maora Ceramic

We had the pleasure of visiting a wonderful family-owned ceramics company located just north of Valencia. This passionate family, rooted in tradition, creates all their own ceramics using natural clay and age-old techniques. Their factory, still based in their home, is a testament to their dedication and craft. Each piece they create is soulful, full of character, and steeped in history. We left inspired and cannot wait to collaborate with them on future projects.

One of their signature creations is the terra cotta tile, a timeless material that has been cherished for centuries across the Mediterranean. Made from natural clay, these tiles embody a rustic warmth that connects us to the earth. Today, terracotta is experiencing a resurgence, perfectly on trend as designers combine its raw, earthy charm with modern elements like polished concrete, sleek metals, or clean architectural lines. This balance between old and new allows terracotta to remain relevant and versatile in contemporary design.

Their ability to honor tradition while crafting pieces that feel fresh and timeless is truly inspiring, and we are excited to incorporate their beautiful ceramics into our upcoming projects.
